Sustainable Design
In conjunction with Ridgemont's Corporate Vision Statement of giving back to our community, Ridgemont believes it has an obligation to be environmentally responsible.
In that regard, we have made a concerted effort to educate our team members relative to environmentally friendly construction. All of our project managers and many of our field superintendents have successfully completed the Commercial Green Advantage Environmental Certification Program. Additionally, all of our project managers and field superintendents are Storm Water Pollution Protection Program (SWPPP) trained and certified.
Through our partnership with the North Texas Chapter of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), we are current with the issues regarding Leadership in Environmentally Engineered Design (LEED) construction.
Pictured below is the LEED Certified St. Alcuin School Project completed in North Dallas in April of 2010. From the start of the project during demolition and recycling the concrete to final air quality testing and commissioning, Ridgemont managed the process. The key to our success was defining the LEED expectations very early on in the preconstruction phase of the project.
